He participated in many of the ERA’s European trips and was also an active member of the East Penn Traction Club. This collection of his vintage trains includes: Varney, Trix, Acho, Kleinbahn, Atheann, Piko, Meccano, Ambroid RMA, Hornby Dublo, Roco HO, Pocher, Fleishmann, Liliput, Marklin, Rivarossi, France. This sale also includes other items from Mr. Gaus’ collection: Slides of trains trolleys & railways 1977 - 1978; books & catalogs; vintage railroad, train & trolley postcards; and Philadelphia streetcar memorabilia.
