Meccano Outfit No. 7 Construction Set in Original Box - A Meccano Outfit No. 7 construction set manufactured by Meccano Limited of Liverpool, England. The collection includes a variety of painted tin-plated steel components, such as perforated strips, rectangular and circular plates, and girders, finished in the post-World War II green and red color palette. The set features black pulleys and wheels, brass gears, and assorted fasteners. The components are stored in the original red cardboard two-tiered box which features a pictorial paper label on the lid. An original instruction manual for Outfits Nos. 7 and 8 is included, dated circa 1948. The lot also contains two small Meccano component boxes and three vintage Bulwark Cut Plug tobacco tins used for part organization.
