Two Chinese Green-Glazed Pottery Items - An earthenware standing figure and a coordinating earthenware oil pot, both finished in a vibrant lead-based green glaze with pronounced crazing. The figure represents a traditional scholar or official wearing a long robe with voluminous sleeves and a high-crowned cap. Traces of black pigment are visible on the facial features and headwear. The figure stands on an unglazed rectangular base. The teapot features a cylindrical body with a flared foot, a simple curved spout, and a high-set handle. The domed lid is topped with a pointed finial. An impressed rectangular stamp is located on the underside of the tea pot base.
