Antique George III Painted Oak Guildford Power Truncheon Dated 1792 - A George III period turned oak truncheon featuring a bulbous ring-turned head and a tapering cylindrical shaft. The base of the handle is pierced with a single circular lanyard hole. The upper section of the shaft features a hand-painted parchment-colored decorative band bordered by orange-red rings and a cross-hatch lattice pattern. This band is hand-inscribed with black lettering and numerals reading Guiting Power 1792. The central portion of the shaft is finished in black paint.
