Royal Worcester Hand Painted Fruit Claret and Gold Cabinet Plate by Raymond Price 1951 - A Royal Worcester fine bone china cabinet plate featuring a central circular medallion hand-painted with a still life study of peaches, green grapes, and a berry. The central composition is signed R. Price for the artist Raymond Price. The plate is designed with a wide claret-colored ground border, extensively decorated with ornate acid-etched and raised gilt scrolling foliate, floral, and classical motifs. It features a lobed rim finished with a thick gilt edge. The underside displays a printed gold Royal Worcester factory mark with the number 51 inside the circle. The item is accompanied by its original green and gold presentation box, which features a royal warrant stamp for Queen Elizabeth II on the interior lid. Condition report: Condition overall very good with no damages or repairs. Both the gilding and the centrally painted fruit panel are in a good order, with no signs of crazing, scuffs, or wear.
