The first item is a Victorian silver-plated presentation coffee pot or trophy, dated 1894. The body features a central cartouche with a hand-engraved inscription: CHAMPION PRIZE For the best ANIMAL in the Cattle Classes WORKINGTON AUCTION MART XMAS FAT STOCK SHOW DEC 12TH 1894. The pot is constructed with a rolled and seamed or spun body, featuring an ornate scrolling handle with heat insulators, a fluted spout, and a hinged lid topped with a decorative finial. The exterior is decorated with engraved floral and foliate motifs. The second item is a late 19th or early 20th-century oval dish cover manufactured by the Northern Goldsmiths Company. The piece features a spun dome with a stepped rim and a cast, detachable scrolled handle. The underside is stamped with the manufacturer marks: NORTHERN GOLDSMITHS COMPANY.
