W. Butcher and Sons Carbine Copper and Brass Developing Tank - A W. Butcher and Sons Carbine developing tank, designed for early 20th-century daylight roll film processing. The apparatus consists of a vertical rectangular column made of polished copper, mounted on a flared, stepped brass base. The top features a removable brass lid assembly equipped with an integrated funnel and a curved carrying handle. A retaining pin attached by a dark metal chain is mounted to the side of the upper collar. A central oval brass identification label is riveted to the lid section.
