The set is characterized by intricate reticulated or pierced lattice-work borders accented with gilded rims. The service includes one centerpiece tazza or compote with a flared bowl on a fluted pedestal base, one square serving dish with a scalloped border, and seven round dessert plates. The underside of the base features the Meissen factory mark of two crossed swords in underglaze blue.
