19th Century French Rococo Style Cast Brass Beveled Easel Back Table Mirror - A late 19th century French Rococo revival style table or vanity mirror constructed from cast brass. The frame features a stepped architectural form decorated with foliate scrolls, floral borders, and circular bosses at the corners. The ornate crest is composed of two winged putti flanking a central ribbed heraldic shield surmounted by a stylized shell. The mirror plate is beveled glass. The reverse is fitted with a metal backing plate secured by fold-over tabs and an easel stand consisting of a central iron support rod terminating in a weighted ball-shaped foot. Two metal rings and a fine chain are present for alternative wall hanging.
