The mechanical pencil is an Eversharp model manufactured in England. The barrel is constructed of sterling silver with an engine-turned linear pattern and is stamped STERLING SILVER MADE IN ENGLAND. The clip is marked with the EVERSHARP name and a small square hallmark. The coin is a 1951 UK Five Shillings (Crown), struck in cupro-nickel for the Festival of Britain. The obverse depicts the portrait of King George VI facing left, while the reverse features the Benedetto Pistrucci design of St. George and the Dragon with the date 1951 in the exergue. The coin is presented in its original maroon leatherette case, which features a gilt-stamped royal crest and the text FESTIVAL OF BRITAIN 1951. The lapel badge is made of white metal and enamel, featuring the sculpted head of a Bull Terrier.
