Tom Everhart, Coconut Couture, Artist Proof Mixed Media Print - Tom Everhart, the only artist authorized by Charles Schulz to interpret Peanuts characters as fine art, created this mixed media print titled Coconut Couture. Part of The Starry Starry Light Suite, the work is rendered on deckled paper using a combination of giclee and silkscreen printing. The composition features an expressionistic portrayal of Snoopy executed with heavy black gestural lines against a background of vertical paint drips in green, blue, and yellow. The print is hand-signed in pencil at the lower right with the name Everhart followed by a horizontal flourish and the date 14. The lower left is inscribed in pencil with the edition number AP 16/50, denoting its status as an Artist Proof. It was published in 2013 by SPS Limelight Agency and printed by Marco Fine Art. The artwork is float-mounted to display the deckled edges within a white wooden shadowbox frame.
