A Large David Shepherd, Burning Bright, Signed Limited Edition Offset Lithograph 1017/2000 - This limited edition offset lithograph, titled Burning Bright, is by the British wildlife artist David Shepherd (1931–2017). The print illustrates a tiger emerging from dark jungle foliage into a shallow pool, with its orange and black coat reflected in the water. The piece is hand-signed in pencil in the lower right margin David Shepherd and is numbered 1017/2000 in pencil to the right of the signature. Centered in the bottom margin is the printed text BURNING BRIGHT by David Shepherd, O.B.E. The lower left margin contains two small printed copyright notices reading © Solomon & Whitehead 1988 and © David Shepherd 1988. Also in the lower left margin is a printed remarque of a tiger cub and a circular embossed publisher blind stamp containing the letters S W for Solomon & Whitehead. The work is professionally presented in a deep-profile gilt wood frame with a multi-layered off-white mat featuring a gold inner bevel.
