JEAN PIERRE AUGUSTE (HAITIAN, B. 1963) Oil on Canvas, signed lower left, measures 20 x 24 and 26 x 30 inches w/ frame. mainly pallet knife, Signed lower left, Folk Painting depicts farmers in tropical scene. Piece has Gallery Nader Label on back. Jean Pierre Auguste was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, in March 1963. He lives in carrefour, but raised in Petion-Ville. His paintings are rare to find in the marketplace and depict his current environment. He signs his paintings J.P. Auguste.
