Walter L. Chaloner (1852 - 1922) Watercolor on paper , Signed , measures 9" x 14" , w/frame 16.5x 22"A graduate of Worcester (Massachusetts) Polytechnic school and a prize winning student, he also studied abroad. Mr. Chaloner was director of exhibits in the Department of Agriculture for several years, following his successful career as a painter in Boston, where he was an active member of the Appalachian Club.
