Robert Shaw Wesson (1902 - 1967) Oil on canvas board, signed lower right "Robert Wesson" depicting a Vermont barn scene, piece measures 20 x 26 and 23 x 29 inches in a rustic wooden frame with barnboard inset. A native of New England, he was born in Worcester, a graduate of Clark and Harvard Universities. His interpretation of New England scenes, especially those of the Vermont locale, has captured the fancy of art lovers throughout the past. He is a member of the Grand Central Galleries in New York, the North Shore Art Association, and has exhibited at the Vixceboxse Gallery In Cleveland, the Sharon Arts Center in New Hampshire, Clark University, and has given demonstrations of landscape painting for the Needham, Wellesley, Lynm, Lowell and Lexington Art Associations. He conducted classes at the Lexington Arts & Crafts Society
