Chinese Inkwell in Blue Powder
A small 19th-century Chinese porcelain inkwell with a spherical body and broad flat rim shaped like four petals. This piece is glazed in a blue powder with blue and gold hues. It measures H 2.75 W 4.75 inches.
Condition: Some minor scratching to the piece.
Provenance: Holzapfel collection, Geneva, Switzerland. This lot was acquired by a third-generation member of the Holzapfel family after 1995 and has remained in the family ever since.
