Early Archaic Period St. Charles Dovetail Corner Notched Knife
An authentic artifact of the Early Archaic period dating between 9500 B.P. and 8000 B.P. This piece was found in Jersey County, Illinois, and has been identified as a St. Charles Dovetail medium-sized corner-notched knife with excurvate blade edges and a lenticular cross-section. It is housed in a felt-lined wooden box with a lock and key.
