Heron Pottery Iridescent Galaxy Glaze Ceramic Vase - A ceramic vase by Heron Pottery, Beaminster, featuring a bulbous form with a flared rim. The piece is finished with a matte charcoal-grey ground, accented by large, irregular iridescent metallic glaze patches. These patches exhibit a range of vibrant colours including burnt orange, deep red, gold, and iridescent tones of purple and blue. The interior of the rim is finished in a glossy black glaze. The unglazed base is impressed with the word POTTERY, a leaping dolphin symbol, and the word HERON. A hand-incised letter K is visible near the centre-left of the base.
