West German Scheurich Keramik Floor Vase Model 517-45 - A large West German ceramic floor vase of cylindrical form, manufactured by Scheurich Keramik. The exterior features a horizontal banded glaze decoration typical of the mid-century period. The upper section is finished in a mottled dark forest green glaze, transitioning into a central band of glossy amber-yellow with a cream-coloured drip glaze effect at the join. The lower section is finished in a contrasting dark brown to black matt glaze. The base of the vase is incised with the characters W. GERMANY, 517, and 45. The number 517 indicates the specific model shape, while 45 represents the height in centimetres. Height: 45 cm.
