A Silver Plated and Cut Glass Cruet Set - A silver-plated and cut glass cruet set dating from the early 20th century. The set comprises a silver-plated stand featuring a stepped rectangular base with canted corners, raised on four ball feet. The wirework frame includes a central square-section pillar topped with a large ring-form carrying handle and is mounted with a vacant, shield-shaped cartouche to the front. The stand holds a collection of clear glass bottles, each featuring a diamond-cut pattern to the body. The set includes condiment bottles with multifaceted glass stoppers, pepper shakers with pierced silver-plated lids and finials, and a mustard pot with a hinged silver-plated lid and thumbpiece. No hallmarks or maker's marks are visible on the metal stand or mounts.
