Large Chinese Style Carved Resin Figure of a Celestial Lady with Phoenixes - A large figural sculpture crafted from a composite resin material, finished to simulate the appearance of aged ivory or bone. The sculpture depicts a standing female figure, likely a celestial lady or deity, dressed in traditional Chinese-style robes decorated with dense scrolling foliate and floral motifs. She is portrayed holding a folded fan to her chest in her right hand and a stylized vessel in her left. Two phoenixes, or Feng Huang, are integrated into the composition, their ornate plumage entwined with the robes of the figure. The sculpture stands on an integral base carved with lotus and cloud patterns. The material exhibits a uniform yellowish-tan patina intended to mimic the appearance of antique carved bone. No signatures, reign marks, or maker's marks are visible on the piece.
