A Victorian Anglo-American mahogany and ebonised weight-driven wall clock - This Victorian Anglo-American wall clock features a rectangular mahogany case flanked by twin ebonised turned spindle pillars. The case is surmounted by a carved foliate pediment with a central plume. A glazed front door reveals a circular white-painted dial positioned above a rectangular mirror panel, both framed by decorative red and black foliate fretwork. The mechanical weight-driven movement features two winding apertures to the dial for timekeeping and strike functions. A single cylindrical metal weight is visible within the lower case. The circular dial is detailed with black Roman numeral hour markers and ornate pierced black metal hands. No maker's marks or signatures are visible on the dial or movement.
