Both instruments are constructed with black Lucite resin barrels and brushed stainless steel caps, known as Lustraloy. The caps feature gold-toned feathered arrow clips. The fountain pen has a hooded nib, with the visible tip appearing to be 14 carat gold. The mechanical pencil features a tip with gold-toned decorative bands.
