A Collection of Masonic and Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes Durham Medals and Badges - This collection comprises fraternal society medals and badges primarily associated with the Province of Durham and the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution (RMBI). Included is a 1959 Steward badge for the Province of Durham featuring blue and red enamel with a central shield crest. There is a circular 1999 RMBI Durham steward medal suspended from a maroon ribbon. A 2010 RMBI Durham Patron star is presented on a red ribbon, while a second RMBI star medal features a Star of David central motif with a tri-colour blue, red, and light blue ribbon. The collection also features a Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (RAOB) medal suspended from a pink ribbon with two bars inscribed 1st DEG 26-9-86 and 2nd DEG 18-11-88. The RAOB cross-shaped pendant is inscribed Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes and Nemo Mortalium Omnibus Horis Sapit around a central buffalo head. The items are constructed from gilded base metal with polychrome enamel detailing and various fabric ribbons.
