Mdina Art Glass Vase - A hand-blown Mdina studio art glass vase of ovoid, egg-shaped form. The piece features complex internal decoration consisting of swirling bands in tones of amber-yellow, emerald green, turquoise blue, and deep oxblood red. The body is further decorated with numerous controlled bullicante bubble inclusions and finished with a subtle iridescent pearlescent surface. The vase terminates in a slightly inward-tapering flat rim. The base is constructed from thick clear glass and features a ground and polished circular pontil mark. While no signature or labels are visible, the form, colour palette, and decorative techniques are characteristic of Mdina Glass production from Malta. Height: 14.7 cm.
