Roman SPQR Style Decorative Dagger and Scabbard - This modern decorative dagger and matching scabbard are designed in the style of a Roman pugio. The double-edged polished steel blade features a central ridge and is decorated at the base with an etched black and gold-tone panel containing scrollwork, floral motifs, a central mask, and the inscription SPQR. The hilt is constructed from cast metal with an antiqued finish, featuring a pommel in the form of an eagle head and a guard with relief figures, both with gold-tone accents. The grip is faceted and set with a central medallion depicting a Roman-style profile. The coordinating cast metal scabbard has decorative bands; the locket features a gold-tone relief of the Capitoline Wolf with Romulus and Remus, and the chape is decorated with scrollwork and a fan-shaped accent.
