A Collection of Hancocks Ivory Ware Crinoline Lady Pattern Tableware - A group of English earthenware tableware from the Hancocks Ivory Ware range, featuring the Crinoline Lady pattern. The set is decorated with transfer-printed and hand-enamelled motifs depicting a woman in a yellow crinoline dress within a floral garden landscape. Each piece is finished with a silvered lustre trim to the rims and handles. The collection includes a teapot with a floral-shaped lid finial, two circular lidded serving dishes, a large oval platter, an assortment of dinner and side plates, multiple teacups, and a small rectangular tray with a blue sponged scalloped rim. The bases are marked with a circular black printed backstamp reading HANCOCKS IVORY WARE MADE IN ENGLAND. Some pieces also feature small hand-painted script marks near the backstamp.
