Vidar 17 Jewels Chrome-Plated and Stainless Steel Wristwatch ,Running When Listed - A Vidar mechanical wristwatch featuring a mid-century aesthetic. The timepiece has a cream-coloured dial showing an aged patina, set with applied gilt Arabic numerals at the even hours and alternating with dart-style indices. It features gilt dauphine hour and minute hands and a central sweep seconds hand with a red-painted tip. The dial is printed with the brand name Vidar, 17 JEWELS, SHOCKPROOF, and ANTIMAGNETIC, with the word FOREIGN at the very bottom edge. The case is constructed from chrome-plated base metal with a yellow metal appearance where the plating has worn, fitted with a stainless steel screw-down case back. The back is stamped with the inscriptions STAINLESS STEEL BACK - WATERPROOF -. The watch is presented on a stainless steel expansion-link bracelet, with the underside of the links stamped INOX-FLEX-S. The movement is mechanical with 17 jewels and is in an untested condition.
