Also present is an open-faced white metal pocket compass with a black dial and a pair of lidded pocket compasses. One lidded compass is housed in a brass effect case with a gold-toned dial, while the other is of Japanese origin in a white metal case. The Japanese compass is marked JAPAN at the base of a black dial featuring green cardinal points, with a square cartouche containing the letters TC located centrally. The lidded brass effect compass includes a suspension ring and a dial graduated in quadrants. The desk compass dial is marked with cardinal points W, M-N, E, and S alongside a numeric degree scale.
