A 1930s? Enamel and Gilt Metal Effect Nignog Club Badge by H. W. Miller Ltd - A 1930s? children's enamel membership badge of circular form, produced for the Nignog Club associated with the Bradford Telegraph and Argus? newspaper. The badge features a central gilt metal effect reserve depicting a stylized cartoon character face with large eyes and a curved mouth, set against a dark blue enamel ground. A matching blue enamel border contains the gold-toned lettering B. T. AND A. CLUB and NIGNOG, separated by circular dots. The reverse is constructed from a copper-toned alloy with a soldered crescent-shaped fixing lug and is stamped with the maker's details H. W. MILLER LTD over B'HAM. 18.
