Royal Worcester Fine Bone China Figurine, Sunday Best by Maureen Halson, 1993 - A Royal Worcester fine bone china figurine titled Sunday Best, from the Festive Country Days Collection. The piece is sculpted by Maureen Halson and depicts a young woman in late 19th-century style attire, comprising a coral-pink buttoned bodice and a voluminous white skirt decorated with pale blue vertical stripes and pink floral sprigs. She is modelled holding a wide-brimmed straw hat to her head with one hand and a rose-patterned shawl in the other, standing upon a circular base modelled as a grassy mound with small flowers. The underside of the base features a printed black Royal Worcester crest containing the number 51 and the word WORCESTER, surrounded by ROYAL WORCESTER and FINE BONE CHINA. It also bears a printed black CW monogram, the title Sunday Best, the collection name Festive Country Days Collection, the name Maureen Halson with a facsimile signature, and the text This figure is number 532 in a limited edition of 9,500.
