Royal Worcester Fine Bone China The Embassy Ball Figurine by John Bromley 1996 - A Royal Worcester fine bone china figurine titled The Embassy Ball, designed as part of the Splendour at Court collection and sculpted by John Bromley. The figure is modelled as a woman in a late Victorian style evening gown of cream-coloured bone china, featuring draped swags, a white lace-effect bodice and underskirt, and hand-painted pink rosebuds with gold-gilt stars. The subject is depicted wearing white evening gloves and holding a floral-patterned fan. The base bears a printed black mark stating The Embassy Ball is a figurine in the SPLENDOUR AT COURT collection, issued in a limited edition of 12,500 of which this is No. 3704, with the number 3704 handwritten in black ink. The mark further states Sculpted by John Bromley and © Compton & Woodhouse ® 1996, and includes the Royal Worcester crown and circle device with the number 51, surrounded by the words ROYAL WORCESTER and FINE BONE CHINA.
