Royal Doulton Glazed Porcelain Figurines, Teatime HN 2255 and The Cup of Tea HN 2322 - Two Royal Doulton glazed porcelain figurines from the HN series, characteristically depicting domestic tea-related scenes. Teatime HN 2255 shows a standing elderly woman with grey hair wearing a frilled cap with yellow and red accents, a rust-coloured skirt, and a dark red open jacket over a cream blouse, holding a blue and white patterned teapot and cup. The Cup of Tea HN 2322 depicts a seated woman with grey hair in a grey jacket and dark navy blue skirt, holding a white teacup and saucer. Both bases feature a green printed lion and crown backstamp reading MADE IN ENGLAND, ROYAL DOULTON, ENGLAND. Teatime is further marked Teatime, H.N. 2255, COPR 1966, DOULTON & CO LIMITED, with registration numbers 926652, 49857, 107/18, and 485/66. The Cup of Tea is marked The Cup of Tea, H.N. 2322, COPR 1963, DOULTON & CO LIMITED, registration numbers 911642, 45001, 9568, 449/63, and a black hand-painted decorator mark G.
