Elizabeth I Hand-Painted Porcelain Figurine , 8.5” - A hand-painted porcelain figurine of Queen Elizabeth I depicted in formal Tudor attire. The figure is wearing a cream-coloured gown decorated with intricate brown scrolling foliate patterns and ermine-style spots on the bodice. The attire features prominent white ruffs at the neck and wrists with a lace-effect openwork design, a jewelled bodice, and a dark cap. She is depicted holding a multi-coloured feathered fan and stands before a partially visible dark red throne. The figurine is mounted on a rectangular base with a light grey glaze and a gilded border. The front edge of the base is printed with the name Elizabeth I in a black serif font. The underside of the base features a printed teal mark consisting of a five-pointed crown positioned above a stylized monogram of integrated characters, possibly R and W or M and R. Height: 21.5 cm.
