Victorian? Carved Oak Lion Mask Architectural Corbels - A pair of Victorian? carved oak architectural corbels of rectangular form with a curved profile. Each bracket is relief carved with a central lion's mask featuring a stylised mane and foliate scrollwork, with a small square aperture located at the mouth. The upper and lower ends are decorated with simple geometric and foliate borders. The oak displays a prominent, aged grain and a dark patina. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are legible on the visible surfaces of either piece. Length: Approximately 22.5 cm Width: Approximately 8 cm.
