Rethyo White Metal and Bronzed Pocket Watches and Assorted Timepieces - An assortment of white metal and bronzed pocket watches featuring both open-faced and hunting-cased designs. Two open-faced watches possess white metal cases and dials marked with the printed script Rethyo; one displaying a white dial with black Roman numeral hour markers, the other featuring a cream dial with applied silvered Roman numerals. A third open-faced watch in a white metal case contains a skeletonised mechanical movement visible through a white chapter ring with black Roman numerals, surrounded by an ornate foliate engraved border. The group also contains three hunting-cased watches: one in white metal with an openwork filigree cover revealing a golden-toned mechanical movement; one bronzed example with an openwork cover depicting the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe below the pierced word PARIS; and a further bronzed watch with a relief-moulded floral and foliate pattern. One Rethyo watch retains a black cord tag.
