The piece is constructed using the multi-layered sommerso technique, featuring a central deep ruby red core encased within a thick layer of vibrant amber glass, which is further submerged in a substantial outer casing of clear glass. The sculpture is topped with an applied clear glass stem and is supported by a flat-ground and polished base. A rectangular gold-toned adhesive label is present on the base, bearing the printed text MADE IN ITALY, with the remaining characters on the label being not legible. Width: 9 cm.
