A 1960s Art Glass Vase by Josef Hospodka? for Chribska? - A 1960s art glass vase of fluted trumpet form, designed by Josef Hospodka? for the Chribska? Glassworks. The vessel is constructed using the sommerso technique, featuring a thick, weighted lime green base that transitions into a clear exterior layer. The internal decoration consists of pulled vertical ribs in a deep cranberry pink hue, radiating from the base through the body. The flared rim is worked into six distinct lobes and is finished with an opalescent white trailed edge. The hand-blown construction is evidenced by several small internal air bubbles trapped within the glass layers. The base is ground flat and polished. Diameter: Approximately 15.5 cm.
