Victorian Hungarian Ash? Miniature Liqueur / Perfume Box? with Glass Decanters - A Victorian miniature box of rectangular form, likely constructed from Hungarian ash? veneers. The exterior features horizontal inlaid banding and is decorated with multiple applied, raised square bosses to the lid and front faces. The hinged lid opens to reveal a blue velvet-lined interior partitioned to house a trio of clear glass decanters. Each bottle is of square-section form with a faceted octagonal stopper and ground neck. The box is fitted with a brass lock plate and small brass hinges. There are no legible maker's marks or inscriptions present on the wooden case or the glass components. Width: 12.5 cm.
