The vessel features a wide flared rim above a cylindrical upper body, bisected by a raised central ring. The lower section consists of a bulbous, rounded body set upon a tiered circular pedestal foot. The exterior is finished in a dark brown stain, displaying the natural grain of the wood? beneath a polished finish. The piece is constructed in a traditional Georgian style? with a hollowed interior intended for holding spills or tapers. The underside of the base is applied with a circular layer of green felt?.
