Lladro Polychrome Glazed Porcelain Springtime in Japan? Figurine Group, Model 1445?, 14” - A Lladro polychrome glazed porcelain figurine group, likely the Springtime in Japan? model number 1445?. The sculpture depicts two women in traditional Japanese kimonos; one standing figure dressed in a lilac-coloured garment holding a dish of flowers, and a second reclining figure in a white kimono with red and grey floral decoration. The figures are positioned on a curved bridge adorned with a cluster of hand-applied porcelain flowers, with a swan at the base amongst sculpted aquatic foliage. The underside bears a blue printed mark reading LLADRÓ, HAND MADE IN SPAIN, © DAISA 1984. The base is further incised with the marks D-21 K and a script R. Height: 35.5 cm.
