GAUNT? - A collection of uniform and military buttons of varying sizes and patterns, primarily of brass and gilt metal effect construction. The assortment features shank-back buttons with embossed motifs including the Royal Arms with lion and unicorn supporters, fouled anchors for the Royal Navy, and the Royal Air Force eagle and crown. Several buttons display heraldic crests likely pertaining to livery or civic services. The lot also includes woven brown leather? buttons of 'football' form and domed black composite? buttons.
