Vintage Chrome-Plated and Cast Metal Binocular Stereo Microscope on Adjustable Boom Stand - A vintage binocular stereo microscope of industrial design, mounted on a multi-axis boom stand. The assembly is constructed from chrome-plated steel rods and cast metal components with a heavy circular base for stability. The binocular head features a black pebbled finish and is equipped with a rack-and-pinion focusing mechanism. Both eyepieces include rotating dioptre adjustment rings engraved with a numerical scale including the characters +, 0, and - followed by the digits 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. The microscope head is hinged to allow for interpupillary distance adjustment. A circular maker's mark? is present on the top surface of one prism housing, although the embossed text is not legible.
