Rare SPIW XM19 Serial Flechette Rifle Magazine Lot
**THIS LOT IS INERT AND DEMILITARIZED**
Two very rare prototype 30? round magazines were part of the Special Purpose Individual Weapon (SPIW) program are started by the AAI Corporation in the in the 1960s to replace the M16. The SPIW program came up with the prototype XM19 Flechette Rifle. Very few rifles were made and very few of their 30? round magazines. These are both the same and are numbered 135 and 195 respectfully. and it is our opinion that may be only 5 to 20 rifles in existence and thus very few magazines exist. It is fair condition and shows much wear and age. The follower is stuck at the top of the mag and won't push down and it has no spring. The family of Jim Geibel authorized Donley Auctions to release these two magazines for auction.
