1994 Frank Thomas Chicago White Sox Home Pants MVP
Scarce 1994 Frank Thomas Chicago White Sox game used home pants with COA. The size 38 Russell Athletic Chicago White Sox home pinstriped pants. Game used pants worn by a HOF member are extremely difficult to find. These Chicago White Sox home pants showcase (3) internal waistline tags namely; The Russell Athletic Diamond Collection tag, an adjacent small 100 % Polyester tag to the left of it, and to the right of the "Diamond Collection" tag, there is another waistline tag which reads "35 F. Thomas, 38/40-33-94." There is a stitched "R" (Russel Athletic) logo tag on the backside above left rear pocket. Very good overall condition with little wear noted, however the BIG HURT was a designated hitter and hit the long ball, especially in 1994. 1994 was the second consecutive year BIG FRANK won the AL MVP award (Won in 1993 & 1994). Also noteworthy is that the 1994 season was shorted by the MLB player strike, creating an abbreviated 113 game season. Although he won the MVP it would have been nice to see what he would have done that year without the strike, Thomas was absolutely murdering the ball batting .353 w 38 homers and 101 RBIs with a slugging percentage of .729!!! Own a true piece of MLB history, perfect addition to your collection. A Must Have for any Chicago White Sox enthusiast. Please use photos to judge condition and bid accordingly.
