Bible - Biblia Hebraica - Halle, 1720
Volume which includes five Pentateuch Joshua, shoftim, Samuel, and Melachim, Biblia Hebraica, ex aliquot manuscriptis et compluribus impressis codicibus, with introduction and Latin notes, edited by Johann Heinrich Michaelis. Halle (Halae, Germany), 1720.
Hebrew, with introduction and notes in Latin. Some of the cover letters were printed in red ink. The leaf before title page - engraving the Torah sages.
This edition was edited by Johann Heinrich Michaelis, who used different manuscripts from the manuscripts by which the "Mikraot gedolot" edition was printed in Venice 1524-5. With a Latin translation of the little tradition and a commentary in Latin, with an exchange of versions.
[8], 32, p, 332 leaves. Worn half leather binding. Stains. Good condition.
