Curious and interesting printed document, with a page printed on purpose by Diário Popular on September 27, 1869, publishing the famous letter from D. Luís I to the Duke of Loulé, denying his acceptance of the crown of Spain. The letter had been published in the official newspaper that same day, and the publication of this supplementary sheet is, perhaps, the first printing of the letter in the media. Rare.
