政也作 genuine antique iron signed Samurai stirrups, Edo period, circa 1700. What was the name of the maker? The signature is: 政也作: Made by Masaya or Masanari. 塗師鶴田政奴: painted by Tsuruta Seido. How to distinguish between right and left? One stirrup is marked 左, which means left.
