Extremely Rare First Edition Shivchei Habaal Shem Tov, Kapust 1815
"Wondrous and awesome stories from the glory of the light of Israel… who illuminates the land and those who dwell upon it in the light of Torah and avodah

Rare edition Shivchei HaBaal Shem Tov authored by Rabbi Dov Ber of Linitz, son-in-law of Rabbi Alexander Shochet who served as the Baal Shem Tov's scribe. He stresses the trustworthiness of the stories in his preface, concluding, "
And everything is true..."
Published in Kapust, 1815, the printer writes that the Baal Shem Tov had revealed that "
one who deals with the praise of tzaddikim, it is as though he is dealing with the Ma'aseh Merkava."
