Letter from great Gaaon and Tzadik “Hakadosh” Rabbi Menachem Ziemba,
A postcard dated 1930, written by Rabbi Menachem Zamba including a short comment on Torah in response to a letter-writer.
Rabbi Menachem Ziemba
(1883 - 1943) was a distinguished pre-war Torah leader and brilliant Chassidic scholar. He served in the Mo'etzes Gedolei Hatorah where he astounded the prestigious participants with his insight and piety. With the rise of the Nazis, he fled and hid in various locations, assisting the survivors of the Warsaw ghetto, encouraging them to stand strong, until his ultimate murder on Pesach of 1943. His scriptures were published in Totzaos Chaim, Zera Avraham, and many others.
